Why extract audio from a video
A performance, interview or practice clip shot on an iPhone saves as a MOV file, but often the audio is the only part you actually want to keep. Pulling out just the audio as MP3 makes it much lighter than the full MOV and easier to import into a music player or share.

How to use it
(1) The output format is already set to MP3 on this page. Drag and drop your MOV file onto the drop zone, or click it to choose one. (2) Pick a bitrate (128 / 192 / 256 / 320kbps) — 192kbps or higher is a good choice for music or singing. (3) Press 'Convert to MP3'; the video stream is automatically stripped out and only the audio is written as MP3. A download button appears once it finishes.
